A normal 5 minute general purpose epoxy will dispense and mix in a matter of seconds, and then be quite dry with in fifteen minutes and completely dry in an hour. All purpose epoxy can work with metal, glass, ceramic, concrete and wood. Generally it's a clear substance that forms a very rigid bond in a matter of minutes. Be sure to handle epoxy with care, most will stick to your fingers if applied, if you do get it on your fingers, quickly get a towel to wipe. Don't put an excess amount of epoxy on the surface that you are repairing. Once you have applied the epoxy, be sure to wipe away any excess while the epoxy is still wet, otherwise it will dry and you will have no way to get it off. If you're only repairing a small object, you may be able to hold the pieces together until they stick, if the pieces are larger, you may want to get a clamp.
